this is the image I keep coming back to as my favorite from 2007. It's pretty much straight out of the camera.
It was a tough day to shoot at the Cheeseman Park Pavilion with the bright sun and very harsh lighting. Wendy and Keven were a great couple to work with, and she clearly stated when we first me that she wanted really artsy images. The sun was perfectly positioned between the columns, the floor reflected the golden light of the sun, and the long shadows were to die for! I exposed for just enough detail for Wendy's dress, and using the 10.5 mm fisheye lens, I got just what I wanted, and what they wanted too!
Please have a safe celebration this evening. Tomorrow, I'm going to preview the 2008 season.
