As far as this blog business, I’ve held out as long as I could! I’ll keep it update, but don’t come back every day expecting to see something new. But I do plan on making entries several times a week. Of course I’ll be showing images from weddings, engagement sessions, and when I’m out just having fun with the camera.
I also want to spotlight my fineart b&w work from years past. I was very fortunate to have my work shown in numerous galleries and have my photographs in many private collections. Since that was back in the film days, I’m in the process of scanning those negatives and re-discovering those prints once again. I hope to start featuring these images soon.
One question I get quite often from not only clients and guests at weddings, but also from other photographers is “what made you take that picture?” Or, “why did you take it from that angle?” I will try to put into words the motivation behind certain images, especially the ones that I hear the questions about the most.
