Catching Up!

It's been a whirlwind past couple of weeks! Appointments for future weddings, album designs and deliveries, and WPPI. I'll work my way backwards from this past weekend.

Saturday I had the pleasure of working with one of my friends and wonderful photographer Deb DesMarteau. Deb and I have not photographed a wedding together since 1999! In fact, my very first magazine ad featured an image I took from that wedding that she let me tag along. That picture resulted in a lot of bookings when I was first getting my business off the ground, so there will always be a warm spot in my heart for Deb! Jennifer and Pierce's wedding was at the prestigious Cherry Creek Country Club. Here are few pictures:
Sunday the 16th, I headed out to Las Vegas for the annual Wedding and Portrait Photographers Int'l convention. I'm not a big fan of Vegas, but the convention is always a great time to catch up with old friends and make new ones. The trade show is Disneyland for photographers! I can never seem to get out of Vegas with out dropping a couple of grand on new equipment, learning new skills, and getting the creative battery fired up! There are great parties too!
Party time at Mandolay Bay Sunday night hosted by my friends Sara France and Lauren Hillary from San Diego. Here are my buddies Phillip Lloyd, my assistant Krista Johns, and Jensen "I've finally gone digital" Sutta.
The BluDomain crew, designers of my website. l-r: Zahari, Harald, Aundrea, Wade, Daniel, and Marlene.
This is location of the BluDomain gala on Monday night. Check out more pictures of the Parisian Palace here.
And finally, Becker's party at theHotel on Tuesday. Here I am in the KISS photo booth surrounded by Frances and Krista!
If you are in the vicinity of 11th and Grant in Denver, be sure to check out my wife's latest project, The Strada Flats.

Kelsey and Jeremy

I have been very fortunate to have photographed a lot of weddings at the beautiful Sanctuary. Not only is it a spectacular venue for weddings with a golf course to die for, but the staff is arguably the best anywhere. This May, I will have had the honor of photographing Kelsey and Jeremy's wedding there. Kelsey is the Catering Sales Manager at the Sanctuary, so it is especially rewarding to be her photographer of choice! Here's a few images from Kelsey and Jeremy's engagement session.
