An engagement session, a wedding, and new babies!

Meredith and Brian are getting married next summer at Beano's Cabin in Beaver Creek. Beano's is a great setting for a wedding, and I'm excited about photographing their celebration for a couple of reasons. First, Meredith and Brian have been wonderful to work with, and second I am finally getting a chance to work with event planner Faye Gardenswartz, who has several ICON awards under her belt. It was a bit chilly on Lookout Mountain, but we had a good time!

Suzanne and Ryan's wedding was Saturday at the JW Marriott in Cherry Creek. Suzanne and Ryan have been great to work with. Ryan is a photographer , so he understands what wedding photographers go through to capture the images on such an unpredictable occasion as a wedding. Terry, Suzanne's mom officiated the ceremony, which was set in a spectacular setting by Denver Design Works, who always do an impeccable job. The combined talents of Stephanie at the hotel, and Julie Gambrell of Classic Creations, made sure that everything was very well organized. Peter Yellen and Dressed in Black rocked the house for the reception. I've had the priviledge of working with them a lot this season, and they always keep the reception crowd on their feet. Charles Brinton of Brinton Studios help me out at the wedding. I'll post some of his fabulous images at a later date.

The beautiful ceremony setting and Grand Ballroom by Denver Design Works.
I love this picture of Suzanne's great smile and showing off her necklace.
Here's Suzanne in the wine room at the JW Marriott. I love the really cool lighting and Suzanne's "Miss Thing" pose!.
They kissed A LOT!
I'm reminded of the song "Sneakin' Sally through the Alley" by Robert Palmer with this imageThank you Suzanne and Ryan for a great wedding!
Here's Lindsay!
I photographed Jen and George's wedding at Columbine Point in winter Park a couple of years ago.
Nine months ago Lindsay arrived! Here are a few pictures of the cutie pie and her beaming parents.

I only do family sessions on a limited basis. Just about a year ago, Kristy and Scott were referred to me for a family session by Tammy and Justin, previous wedding clients of mine. Well, sometimes the little ones do not cooperate as evidenced by Ella's reaction on this photo from the session.
Kristy and Scott however loved this image and used it on their Christmas card last year. So when I got the email from them for another session this year, I was looking forward to photographing Ella with a smile on her face! A year older, Ella is a take charge person now! Ella was blessed with a baby sister, Keely, just about 3 weeks ago and her grandparents were here from Syria.
And finally, Ella with a smile!
